Hey Sharon (@sherhearti), thanks for taking part! You're the first KBeauty influencer from Israel on my Lucky Blog which is really exciting. Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
Hey, I'm excited to be the first one from Israel! My name is Sharon, I'm 25 years old, studying Software Engineering here in Israel and I work in the field. I love illustrating, watching tv shows and movies in my spare time :) and of course Instagram! I have really dry skin and prone to hormonal acne, redness and texture issues. I really love Korean culture and especially KBeauty!
How did you discover KBeauty?
I got into Korean dramas about three years ago, I watched a few that featured sheet masks so I was really intrigued by them and wanted to try them out. In Israel we don't really have KBeauty brands (Tony Moly is the first one that opened here and it opened about a month ago) but I traveled to England back then so I went to a KBeauty store in London and bought a few sheet masks by Tony Moly and Innisfree. After trying the sheetmasks out I fell completely in love with KBeauty!
You're so passionate about KBeauty and you also run a dedicated KBeauty blog too. What was it that got you obsessed with KBeauty?
The packaging is the thing that got me interested in it at first because they put so much thought into the packaging, but the quality is what made me stick by KBeauty. They put so much work into the formulation of the products! The price is also amazing, there are so much affordable KBeauty products that work much better than Western products that costs double as much.
Do you notice a difference between KBeauty and Western skincare?
Yes, I used to use a few Western brands before getting into KBeauty and after starting to use KBeauty I noticed how different they are, the Western products I used all had bad alcohol and super strong scents, they were really harsh for my skin and felt like they were stripping my skin barrier but KBeauty have products that fit so many skin types and are very mild. They put more thought into hydrating the skin and keeping it strong, that's why I love KBeauty so much!
What's your everyday morning skincare routine?
I would usually use a facial pad to cleanse my face, after that a toner, serum, cream and sunscreen. I prefer a more minimal routine in the morning, if it is winter time I'll probably add an essence to the routine.
What's your everyday makeup routine like?
I usually use a hydrating bb cream, blush, lip tint, concealer and mascara. If I feel fancy I will use warm tones or pink eyeshadow.
What's your night time skincare routine?
In night time I usually do a long routine, I will start with double cleansing, then will use a toner, essence, serum/ampoule, eye cream, face cream, facial oil/night mask. Some nights I will also use sheets masks or chemical exfoliants.
If you were to recommend 5 Kbeauty products for a friend who's never tried.KBeauty before, what 5 products would they be?
These are 5 of my holy grail Korean skincare products.
Is there any KBeauty product (skincare or makeup) that is currently on your wish list?
Haha I have way to many to say. I would say one of the top brands on my list right now is Krave Beauty, I'm hoping to get their products soon :)
What is your most memorable and loved KBeauty product? Any story behind it that you'd like to share?
One of my all time favorite is the cosrx mist that I mentioned, I have great memories attached to it because I used it a lot in my trip to Prague. It was really cold back then so my skin was super dry, I used it pretty much all the time there and on the plane ^^ also took some beautiful pictures with it over mesmerizing Prague.
